Thanks to Bastion, 43 new screens will be awaiting both students and teachers when Kenton School is finally opened.

Kenton School, a £30m project north of Newcastle is set to open this October accommodating 2100 students and 260 members of staff. Bastion contributed to the completion of this project by installing 43 screens throughout the school; the majority solely acoustic rated with the remaining both acoustic and fire rate.

The acoustic rated glazing ranges from 40 - 50db with the fire rating duration ranging between 30 - 60 minutes. In addition to this, Bastion supplied Kenton School with a specialist double door set including solid timber door frames and a double glazed finish.
